In 2026 a humanoid costs anywhere from a motorbike to a house. The good news: the entry barrier has collapsed. In 2023 nothing existed under $90,000; today there are five options under $30,000.
Under $10,000: the entry door
Unitree R1 ($4,290–4,900) and Booster K1 (from $5,999). Compact, agile and programmable. Don't expect skilled hands or payload: they're for learning and development.
$10,000–30,000: the serious zone
Unitree G1 (from $13,500), AgiBot X2 ($24,240), EngineAI T800 (≈$25,000) and the bracket's ceiling, Unitree H2 ($29,900), already adult-sized. The home-oriented 1X NEO ($20,000) also lives here. This is where most universities and content studios buy.
$30,000–170,000: enterprise territory
Kepler K2 (≈$25,000–30,000 target, on inquiry), UBTECH Walker S2 ($68,000–120,000) and Fourier GR-3 ($100,000–170,000). Sold to companies, with contracts and industrial support.
Beware of ghost prices
Optimus 'will cost $20,000–30,000' and XPeng Iron shows up listed at $150,000 on shady sites: neither has an official price because neither is for sale. A price without a buy button is marketing, not a price.
