Deep Robotics is the other big Chinese name in quadrupeds: its dogs patrol power substations and tunnels across half of China. The Lite3 is its entry model, from $2,890, with agility that goes toe-to-toe with the Go2.

Against Unitree it offers a more professional slant (inspection, research) and serious Western distribution. As a tinkering dog the Go2 still wins on price; as a light work platform, the Lite3 puts up a fight.
