Ballie is Samsung's eternal promise: a rolling ball with a 1080p projector that follows you around the house, controls your SmartThings devices and beams content onto the wall. It debuted at CES 2020 and has reappeared at every show since… without ever reaching stores.
In 2025 Samsung promised a launch 'in the first half of the year'; it didn't happen, and at CES 2026 it didn't even show up. With no official price and no date, it's today's best example of a companion robot that exists only in keynotes. We cover it in case it ever wakes up.
